Follow The Pitch.
Be sure you're on the ROOKIE setting. Move the analog stick slightly in any direction when batting and the batting cursor will automatically follow the pitch.
More Character Creation Points.
Use all ability points to create a custom player, then save him. Return to Edit Mode and select the player you just saved. You will now have even more points available to add to your player's abilities.
Unlock Dream Stadium.
At Pacific Bell Park, hit 3 home runs into McCovey Cove.
Automatic Batting Aim.
Select rookie mode. Hold the Analog-stick slightly in any direction while batting and the batting cursor will automatically follow the ball.
Fireworks.
Hit a home run or grand slam with the home team in their stadium during a night game.
Harder pitches.
Hold A when pitching, then release the button as the ball leaves the pitcher. Then, quickly press A again as the ball flies towards the plate.
Bunting.
Press L to bunt.
Homeruns.
Select rookie mode. Hold the Analog-stick slightly in any direction while batting and the batting cursor will automatically follow the ball. When the ball as been pitched, hold L for one second.
